Belated Valentine's Day Dessert Table...

At our church, Joy Christian Fellowship, we have small groups called TLC (Tender Loving Care Group). Currently, my husband and i are leading a family TLC with 5 other families. We meet 3 times a month - one- just for ladies, one- just for guys, and one for whole family.

Feb 27th was our Family TLC meeting at our house, so i decided to have a little belated Valentines' day party for all the members.

Jeanette's 29th SURPRISE birthday party!

About 2 weeks ago, on the bus to work, i met one of my close friend, Jeanette. As we were talking, i realized that i forgot her birthday which was coming up that weekend! She already made plans with her other friends and family, so i told her maybe i will join her for a dinner coming Monday with some of our other friends.

As we were talking, i started to ask her some questions...
"We've been friends like 6-7 years... and i just realized that i don't know what colors you like, what kinds of flowers you like or what kinds of desserts you like... what do you like??" - I was trying to get some info to get ready for her SURPRISE birthday party!

Without any suspicion, she told me all the answers...

With those answers, this is the dessert table i came up with for her birthday party on last Saturday night!

To Open the Door to My Dream...

As i was planning for my daughter's, Evelyn, first birthday party, i realized how happy and exciting it was to plan a party for someone special.  Of course, i planned holiday parties and birthday parties for my husband's, my nephew's and friends', but not to the extend...

My family and friends were wowed by what i have created for my daughter's 1st birthday party and started to tell me that i should start this as a business.  I thought... "hmm... that would be awesome..." but my life did not let me take that road...

Now, my daughter turning 3 in June, helping out with few of my friends' children's birthday parties, i have decided to at least start blogging about my passion and taking my 1st step toward creating my party planning business...

For a start... just few pics from Evelyn's first birthday party!
